Stabilized and Dyed Wood In Unique Patterns and a Variety of Colors. I personally hand select, prepare and dye each piece.
Because of its abundance, toughness, raw natural beauty and the fact that each piece responds so uniquely to colorization, Maple is the primary wood that I choose to dye.
From time to time I will have adequate quantities of acceptable Madrone, Buckeye or Redwood that I will expose to the risk of colorization. You never know what the finished product will look like until the process is complete. Many a piece of quality wood finds its way to the scrap barrel because it responds negatively to the dyeing process.
My successes will be found here.
Handle material is sold in matched sets. The approximate dimensions of each piece of wood is 1 1/2 x 5 x 3/8. Each piece of wood is different and responds differently to the stabilizing and or dying process. The pictures provided are representative of available product. This is not the piece of wood that you will receive.
